The key to realizing the value of your measurement system hardware investment is the software to easily manage the systems, collect and manage the data, and present it. One of our first software products was MultiLogger, created over 12 years ago to provide easier system management and data collection. Following MultiLogger we created Roobrik, a tool designed to process and present data stored in ASCII data files. Next, our database system which consists of two applications, MLDBConsole for managing data and the database, and Insite for managing and presenting the data. Our database system is built on Firebird SQL, a very powerful open-source SQL platform. Contact us for support of other SQL platforms. Finally, our MLWeb product provides a web based interface to your project and data using Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).

MultiLogger is a Windows application designed to manage the automatic data acquisition systems (ADAS), this includes automating programming if necessary and automating data collection. The systems may be connected directly to the PC running MultiLogger or connected using numerous types of communication equipment including short-haul modems, phone modems, radios, fiber-optic or Ethernet interfaces. MultiLogger is a client application of MLGateway. MLGateway performs all the actual functions related to system management, programming, monitoring and data collection. MLGateway can be installed as an application or as a Windows Service. Installation as a service allows the workstation running the software to be logged out without interruption of automated data collection operations. more > |

MLServer is integral to managing databases and notifications. MLServer can be deployed as an application or as a Windows Service. During the MultiLogger Suite installation an option will display to configure MLServer to run as a Service. Firebird is an open source relational database offering many ANSI SQL-99 features that runs on Linux, Windows, and a variety of Unix platforms. Firebird offers excellent concurrency, high performance, powerful language support for stored procedures and triggers. MLDBConsole Database Management MLDBConsole is a Windows application that is one of two applications we develop for supporting database organization, archiving and access of data. MLDBConsole is the management console. It provides for creating the database, managing the Groups and Data Elements stored, backup and restore of the database and configuring user logins. MultiLogger utilizes MLDBConsole via command-line parameters to automatically import data collected from the ADAS network. more > |

Insite is the Windows application for client data access. It presents the project as a series of views, i.e. graphics, with instrument locations denoted by icons placed on the views. The icons show current measurements including alarm status and provide for quickly generating its associated output type, whether report, chart or spreadsheet. Insite includes support for two report types, a columnar report for basic data presentation and a second type for presenting statistical information regarding the data. more > |

MLWeb provides for viewing the project database via the Internet. It is designed to run under the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) platform which is included with many Windows operating systems including WinXP Professional, Windows Server 2003 and 2008 and Vista Business. It presents the views that have been configured using Insite, including instrument locations, alarm status and quick access to the associated output.
